We are the Nettle Soldier

An art collective whose work asks questions of the current culture.

The Nettle Soldier references pop culture, painting characters on various kinds of containers, packets and whatever interesting items we can get our hands on.

Each release is a unique piece of artwork.

It is our belief that all good art asks questions and provokes a response in the viewer. We come not with answers but with questions. We come not with a message, but with an enquiry.

Cryptocurrency inherently questions the status quo, envisaging a more democratic, decentralised world.

In an NFT world which often consists of copycats and derivative art The Nettle Soldier aims to create something new and act as cultural provocateurs.

Crypto is our bank, DAOs are our government and NFTs are our Art.

Why Radix?

NFTs have found their home on the Ethereum network.

Despite this we have chosen to release on Radix

As crypto enthusiasts we resonate with the vision of an open source, permission less, decentralised ledger that provides equal opportunity and can facilitate new forms of trustless co-operation on a global scale. In our view Radix is the technology that is best situated to achieve this goal.

How it works?

Each release will be a limited run of 10 NFTs. There will be a placeholder token which will then be used to mint the NFT once Babylon is released. The numbered edition NFT will be minted at random. Should you wish to receive it, associated with each NFT is a limited edition print of each artwork. Just like the NFT itself, there will only ever be 10 prints of each piece.

This will be an A2 size print on Art museum quality paper.
